GOshorts! is a super‑light browser extension that lets you jump to your favorite sites in a flash. Just type the keyword (default is “go”) plus your shortcut in the address bar—and boom, you’re there.
To install GOshorts!, head over to the Chrome Web Store, search for “GOshorts!”, click “Add to Chrome” (or “Add to Browser”), confirm any prompts, and you’re all set.
Type “go” followed by space or TAB than your shortcut in the address bar and confirm with Enter. If it matches something you’ve saved, GOshorts! will take you there. If not, you’ll see search results for what you typed.
Not right now—the default “go” keyword is fixed. But stay tuned: we’re looking at adding a customization option in a future release!
Open the extension’s settings, enter your shortcut and the URL, hit “OK,” and voilà—a new shortcut is saved and ready to use.
In your shortcuts list, click the pencil icon to edit or the trash can to delete. You’ll get a quick confirmation prompt before anything disappears.
You can export your shortcuts to a CSV file (with “shortcut” and “url” columns) or import them back in. During import, we skip duplicates and any invalid entries, then show you a summary.
Double‑check that your CSV is formatted correctly and only contains valid data. If you still hit snags, look for hidden characters or file corruption.
GOshorts! is mainly optimized for desktop browsers. The UI adapts to smaller screens, but address‑bar shortcuts may be limited on mobile devices.
The pencil icon lets you edit a shortcut, and the trash can deletes it. The logo in the header is, well, just a logo—and the BuyMeACoffee button lets you support the creator.
You’ll be redirected to a search page using whatever you typed as the query.
They’re saved in Chrome’s sync storage
(chrome.storage.sync
), so they follow
you across all your devices when you’re signed in.
